CrossFirst Bank was founded on October 1, 2007 by three veteran bankers: Ron Baldwin, Eric Schroeder and Gregg Motley, along with 12 outside board of directors from the business community. How many employees work for the bank? The CrossFirst organization employs 53 experienced banking professionals. What charitable work does Cross- First get into? In conjunction with the company’s principles and purpose of Serving People in Extraordinary Ways, CrossFirst Bank and its team members are involved in a variety of charitable causes. One major cause supported by the bank has been the Juvenile Diabe- tes Research Foundation. Any other interesting things you could share about the bank or your employees? You’ll find a high level of friendly competition among CrossFirst bankers, especially during March Madness. CrossFirst Bank President & CEO Mike Maddox played on the 1988 Kansas University national championship basketball team and was a captain of the 1991 NCAA runner-up KU team. Still fiercely devoted to the Jayhawks, Maddox now leads a team of championship bankers who represent many different university affiliations.
