Bob believes that as bankers we have a duty to be involved in our community and also in our industry. One cannot be an observer when it comes to the rules and regulations impacting banks today. We must be actively involved in shaping the future of banking by volunteering our time, talent and treasure. Therefore, he is giving back to the industry that plays a major role in his life. Travis Hicks Region 1 Rep. President & CEO, Great American Bank, De Soto Travis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kansas University and went on to earn an MBA, also from KU. During his term on the KBA Board of Directors, Travis would like to focus on continuing to promote the role of community banks and work to limit new banking regulations as well as try to eliminate many of the existing unnecessary and burdensome regulations. New faces on the kba board of directors Leonard Wolfe Chairman-Elect President/Chairman, United Bank & Trust, Marysville Leonard earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. During his term as Chairman-Elect of the KBA, Leonard hopes to contribute toward sustaining the level of excellence which member banks have become accustomed. He feels it is an honor to be chosen to represent Kansas bankers. Robert(Bob) Leftwich Treasurer President, Impact Bank, Wellington Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in Banking from Wichita State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. One of Bob’s first mentor’s was a community banker who instilled in him a passion for our industry. The fire has never waned.
