President & CEO, Patriots Bank, Garnett Scott obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. He served on the KBA Board of Directors in 2002-2005 and also served on the Employee Benefits Committee. Scott is a 2012 BLOK Participant. During his term on the KBA Board of Directors Scott wants to uphold the aspiration of his mentor/ father, Jim Cooper, CFOs, Patriots Bank; keeping alive the importance of having community bank and what they represent. Steven White Region 3 Rep. Vice President, Farmers & Drovers Bank, Council Grove Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Kansas State University and holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from Drake University. He continued his education at the University of Arkansas earning an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Agricultural Law. During his term on the KBABoard of Directors, Steve would like to help Kansas bankers understand what a valuable resource they have in the KBA and in turn, try to get more of them involved with the association. Brian Chamberlin Region 4 Rep. President, Andover State Bank, Andover Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, majoring in Management/Finance with a Minor in Economics. Brian’s primary goal is to be a strong repre- sentative for the community banks in Region 4 and Kansas. Initially he would like to work closely with theAssociation, state legislature and U.S. Congressmen to bring about some level of regulatory relief to community banks imposed under the Dodd-Frank Act. Brian feels that the KBA has served its membership well over the years, and his goal is to assist his member banking institutions in any way possible in helping ensure that the community banking model that is so critical to the success of small businesses and consumers remains viable for years to come. Don Bolt Region 5 Rep. Senior Vice President, The Bank, Norton Don earned a bachelor’s degree at Kansas State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. During his term on the KBABoard he wants to continue the “fight” against additional regulations and provide education and support for Kansas banks. Jack Galle Region 5 Rep. President, First National Bank in Pratt, Pratt Jack is a graduate of Kansas State University and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Jack believes one of the primary benefits of KBA is to assist with informing legislators and the public of the positive impact bankers have on the communities they serve and live in and he will strive to continue that great work. Dustin Stull Trust Division President Vice President & Trust Officer, Central National Bank Branch, Concordia Dustin earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Fort Hays State University and an MBA from Baker University. His goal as a KBA Board member is to represent the trust division and trust departments across the state with awareness to current legisla- tive issues and concerns. Matt Lee Kansas Ag Bankers Division President President, Centera Bank, Satanta Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Matt was a member of the 2006 Bank Leaders of Kansas Program. He started working at Centera Bank in 1999. As the Division President of the Kansas Ag Bankers, Matt’s goal for the Division is to continue to provide an extraordinary level of support and dedication to the Kansas banks and bankers who devotedly serve the agricultural banking industry. Patrick Fallon At Large Rep. President, Central Bank and Trust Co., Hutchinson Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in Agriculture and is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. During his term on the KBA Board, Pat would like to continue to focus on the strength and importance of Kansas banks to the Kansas economy as we work to decrease excessive regulation. Bryce Porter Young Bank Leaders Of Kansas Division President Executive Vice President, Citizens State Bank of Marysville, Waterville Branch Bryce earned a bachelor’s degree inAgribusiness from Kansas State University and is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. As a board member representing the KBAYoung Bank Officers of Kansas Division, Bryce’s goal is to ensure strong community banking so that we can provide growth opportunities for young professionals in the Kansas banking industry. As our Kansas banks make the next genera- tion transition in leadership, it is important that our community banks continue their traditional role as the backbone of rural America so that our communities can be well-served in the years to come.
