The $5,000 combined with a $31,000 contri- bution made earlier this year, brings Kansas bankers’ total support for pro-banking federal legislative candidates to $36,000. During the conference, ABA officials announced that calendar year contributions to the National BankPAC have exceeded $1.2 million and that support from state associations affiliated with ABA’s National BankPAC is what makes BankPAC so effective and one of the largest PACs in Washington, D.C. Special thanks to every Kansas bank and banker that supports KBA’s BankPAC. Together we are working to elect and retain pro-banking lawmakers that serve us in Topeka and Washington, D.C.
