Through the years Tom has experienced most positions in the bank. In 1967 he was elected to the Board of Directors. He was named President and Chairman of the Board in 1981 and he remains in that leadership role today. Tom has led the bank through major milestones to include a new bank building, forming a new holding company and growing the company through purchasing others. They acquired Peoples Bank, Coldwater in 1994, Meade State Bank in 1995 and purchased 3 insurance agencies between 1999 and 2005. Tom has been active in KBA, serving on several committees and on the Governing Council. He was on the committee charged with forming Bankers’ Bank of Kansas.
