The “World’s Greatest Putter” competition kicked off the event the evening before and Tim Krueger, VisionBank, Topeka won the NCAA style bracket contest. The Jim Maag Trophy, which goes to the overall champion returned to VisionBank in Topeka with the team of Gary Yager, VisionBank; Craig Meader, First National Bank of Kansas, Waverly; Mike Sobba, Strunk LLC, Kansas City; and Tim Krueger, VisionBank. They won the event with an amazing 18 under par score of 54. The second flight team taking first place was David Brownback, John Thaemert, Lance White and Derek Isaacs with a 6 under par score of 66. Next year’s event will be held at Firekeeper on September 20-21, 2015.
