l e a d i n g a d v o c a t e f o r t h e b a n k i n g i n d u s t r y i n k a n s a s 12 2015 KBA INSURANCE-H&P GOLF TOURNAMENT T HE 24TH ANNUAL KBA INSURANCE, Inc.-Hodge & Porter golf tournament was held Thursday, May 7 at Hidden Lakes Golf Course in Derby, Kansas. Eighteen 4-man teams, made up of Kansas bankers and vendor representatives, enjoyed near ideal weather at the popular public golf course. Play for the 72 players was a scramble format, with 10 individual events, a putting contest and the Capital Corporation Ball Contest. Following play everyone was treated to a Bar- B-Q buffet, awards presentation and numerous drawings for cash and prizes. Two 40” flat screen televisions were won by Bob Bergman, Bennington State Bank, Minneapolis, and Steve Hill, CornerBank, Winfield. The team champions and winners of the first flight, was the team from Home Bank & Trust Co., Eureka; Keith Ball, Rolf Gunderson, Dick Roberts and Brad Rucker. The staff of KBA Insurance-Hodge & Porter will soon announce the date and golf course for the 25th anniversary of the tournament in 2016. Some new and different events are being planned for next year’s tournament.
