Andrea has held this position since 2010. She was previously the Senior Credit Officer for Bank of America. Andrea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Wichita State University. She and her husband Jim have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, family activities and travel. KBA-Kansas Ag Bankers Division President Douglas Ray is the Branch President for Stockton National Bank in Norton. He previously served as Vice President at First Security Bank and Trust. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Ft. Hays State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He has served as the Vice President of the KBA Kansas Ag Bankers Division and also as the Secretary for the same committee. He is active in his community by currently serving on the Finance Council for the Catholic Church and formerly serving as the President of the Norton Lions Club. Doug and his wife Kerri have two children, a son named Travis and a daughter named Amanda. He enjoys fishing, golfing, hunting and riding his Harley. He considers it an honor to serve as the KAB Division President and on the KBA Board of Directors and he looks forward to working with colleagues throughout the state. KBA-Young Bank Officers of Kansas President Kathy Schwerdtfager is Senior Vice President at The Bank of Tescott in Lincoln, where she has been employed since 2009. She was formerly employed by Guaranty State Bank & Trust Co. in Beloit. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from McPherson College and graduated from The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 2011. She is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Personal Finance at Kansas State University. She has been active in the KBA graduating from the Bank Leaders of Kansas in 2007 and has served on the YBOK board. She also serves on the GSBC Alumni Advisory Board for the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Kathy is also active in her community and serves as the Treasurer on the Lincoln County Hospital & Health Care Foundation board of directors. Kathy and her husband Travis have a masonry business. Her son Zach Streit is a student at Kansas State University. Kathy enjoys cheering on the K-State Wildcats, spending time with family and friends as well as a round of golf when time permits. She is looking forward to leading the Young Bank Officers of Kansas Division over the next year. KBA-Trust Division President Curtis Overton is an Executive Vice President and Manager of First Wealth Management for First National Bank in Hutchinson where he has been employed since 2009. He was previously employed as the Wealth Management Executive Vice President of Citizens Bank & Trust, Kansas City, MO. He was also a partner for over 10 years with a CPA firm and served as an adjunct faculty member at William Woods University, Fulton, MO where he taught Accounting and Statistics. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Computer Data Processing from what is now known as Missouri State University. Curtis holds the credentials of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). He completed the Cannon Trust School I, II and III and the American Bankers Association Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Curtis joined the MOKAN Trust Conference committee while living in Missouri. In 2011 he was elected to the KBA Trust Board and was reappointed to the MOKAN at that time as a KBA representative. His wife Karen of 35 years is employed as a Behavior Specialist in the Hutchinson School District after teaching elementary and special education for several years. They have two grown children and a grandchild. Curtis spends most of his free time serving on several boards and enjoys playing golf. He looks forward to sharing his experiences from the trust profession with the KBA Board of Directors over the next year.
