(Nasdaq: EQBK), the Wichita- based holding company of Equity Bank, visited the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square on Monday, January 11, 2016. In honor of the occasion, Brad Elliott, Chief Executive Officer, rang the Closing Bell. Equity Bank provides financial services primarily to businesses, business owners and individuals through a network of 29 full-service branches in Kansas and Missouri, including the Wichita, Kansas City, and Topeka metropolitan areas. Anderson Chandler Celebrates His 90th Birthday. Anderson Chandler, Chairman of the Board, Fidelity State Bank & Trust Co., Topeka, turned 90 years old on January 21st. A celebration was held at the bank was well attended with customers and friends. Happy birthday, Andy! Carson Bank internally promotes employees Two Carson Bank employees recently received promotions. Grant Roskam was promoted to Executive Vice President Lending. His primary duty is Commercial Lending. Roskam works at the main location of Carson Bank in Mulvane and has been with the bank since July 2002. Frank Carson IV was Promoted to President and CEO of Carson Bank, Mulvane. He oversees all aspects of the bank's operations. Carson's office is located at the main bank in downtown Mulvane. He has been with Carson Bank since January 2004. Carson Bank has four locations; two branches in Mulvane, one in Derby and one in Wichita. Buegers Joins CC Capital Advisors Julian Buegers recently joined CC Capital Advisors, a Kansas City-based investment- banking firm, as a financial analyst. He will be responsible for M&A support, company research, financial analysis, financial model development, and company valuation for CCCA clients. Prior to joining CC Capital Advisors, Buegers was a financial analyst at a Kansas City- based investment-banking firm, and served as an analyst for a local wealth management firm where he was responsible for due diligence and research on publicly traded companies, and for monitoring investment portfolio holdings and investment strategies. Originally from Germany, Buegers graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in management from Missouri Valley College, Marshall, Missouri. He also earned a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, where he was involved in the Student Finance Association and the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Investment Research Challenge. He recently passed the 2015 Level III CFA exam. His office is at CC Capital Advisors, 1100 Main St., #300, in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Citizens Bank of Kansas Hires Two Lenders Kelly Wood is a native of Kingman. He has banking experience and business experience. Kelly has been an insurance agent and owner of the Kingman General Store. After selling the store, Kelly was ready to return to his family roots of banking. (His father Mike Wood and grandfather Jim Wood, both have ties to First National Bank of Kingman, the predecessor to CBK.)
