November 2016 33 l e a d i n g a d v o c a t e f o r t h e b a n k i n g i n d u s t r y i n k a n s a s KBA RECEIVES ARTWORK DONATED BY THE BROADMOOR “The Gathering of the Herds” (1866) by William Jacob Hays is the newest addition to the art collection displayed at the Kansas Bankers Association. The print (4’ x 2.5’) is from Philip Anschutz’s private collection and was presented to the KBA and Kansas bankers by Broadmoor President Jack Damioli in recognition of their 32-year partnership with the Broadmoor Hotel. The print is hanging outside of the Chandler Board Room at the KBA office.
