ROBBINS BANKING INSTITUTE FHSU.edu/RCOBE Fort Hays State University is Pleased to Announce the Robbins Banking Institute Fort Hays State University has established the Robbins Banking Institute to serve the banking community of Kansas. Its primary role will focus on expanding the professional workforce available to Kansas banks. It will do so by recruiting traditional age on- campus students into Kansas’ most complete banking curriculum and then placing them in banking internships to prepare them for employment in professional roles. Beginning with the fall 2017 semester, it will also offer distance learning coursework and credentials to place-bound banking employees. Fort Hays State University is the only Kansas university to offer a degree in Finance with a Concentration in Banking. The Robbins Banking Institute is possible due to a significant donation to Fort Hays State University by W.R. and Yvonne Robbins of Farmers Bank and Trust. It will be led by an executive who has over 20 years’ experience in the Kansas banking community and guided by an advisory board of bankers. Banks and bankers have been committing to fund scholarships. You are encouraged to join in this exciting effort as an advisor and/ or donor.
