In Kansas Banking The Trust Company of Kansas 2017 Promotions Announcement With great pleasure, Chairman & CEO Stephen A. English announced two promotions made by the Board of Directors of The Trust Company of Kansas (TCK) last Friday. Rick Warner has been named as Senior Vice President – Technology. Rick is responsible for the oversight and management of the majority of the technology at TCK: information technology infrastructure, budgeting, computer hardware & software, printers, video conferencing, and more. He will celebrate 20 years of service with The Trust Company of Kansas in 2017. Pam Ryser has been promoted to Assistant Vice President & Trust Officer from her former role as Trust Officer. Pam joined The Trust Company of Kansas in April 2008. Over the past eight years, she has excelled at expanding her knowledge and expertise in the areas of financial planning, estate planning and administration, taxes and fiduciary investment management. Pam recently assumed a more active role in the administration of many client relationships within the company’s Leavenworth, Kansas market. Country Club Bank Welcomes New Financial Advisor to Wealth Services Division Country Club Bank is pleased to welcome a new addition to their financial services team in their continuing efforts to further their dedication to local, relationship-based financial services. Craig Reid , who has spent his entire career in financial services, joined the CCB organization in January, 2017. He is now a Financial Advisor with Country Club Financial Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Country Club Bank. His primary focus will be centered on Retirement Plan Services and helping local Kansas City companies take the next steps in ensuring strong financial futures for their employees. Bankers’ Bank of Kansas Hires Veteran Lender Bankers’ Bank of Kansas has hired Mike Sikes as Senior Vice President of Lending. He possesses more than three decades of banking experience, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of ESB Financial in Emporia. “Mike has a solid background in community banking at financial institutions small, large and in-between. Before moving to Emporia, he spent 20 years in executive officer positions in the Wichita market,” says Calvin Coady, BBOK President/CEO. “His approachability, seasoned set of credit skills, and aptitude for building long- term relationships makes him an ideal fit for BBOK.” Promotions Announced at Centera Bank Jay Meyer , President; Mike Stevens, Chairman of the Board of Centera Bank; and Mike Cearley, CEO, announced changes from the bank’s recently held board meeting. Mike Cearley was elected Chief Executive Officer of the bank, while Jay Meyer was elected President. Stevens, who has been with the bank since 1978 and was the previous CEO, will continue in the capacity of chairman of the board. Cearley, the previous President, has been with the bank since 1986. He is married to Andrea and they have two children and two grandchildren. Meyer, who was previously Executive Vice President, has been with the bank since 1991. He is married to Liz and they have two daughters and one granddaughter. Centera Bank has total assets of $280 million and has locations in Sublette, Satanta, Greensburg, Dodge City and Minneola. Bank SNB Welcomes Scott Ochs as SVP, Senior Commercial Banker Southwest Bancorp (NASDAQ: OKSB) subsidiary Bank SNB announced the addition of Scott Ochs to the company as Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker in our East Wichita, Kansas location. Ochs earned his Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration at Wichita State University. He joins Bank SNB with over 37 years of experience in banking. His impressive experience in the industry affords him a value-added expert in his market. Ochs is heavily involved in community activities and serves on several boards, including Larksfield Place and Sedgwick County Zoological Society, where he previously held the prestigious Board President position. Bank SNB Welcomes Shawn Jiwanlal as VP, Commercial Banker Southwest Bancorp (NASDAQ: OKSB) subsidiary Bank SNB announced the addition of Shawn Jiwanlal to the company as Vice President, Commercial Banker, in our East Wichita, Kansas location.
