She is a member of the bank’s IT and Compliance Committees and manages the strategic plan. Bobbi is a graduate of KBA’s Bank Leaders of Kansas (BLOK) program and is involved in numerous community activities, including the Young Professionals community involvement committee. MARK STARR First National Bank of Goodland Mark is currently Vice President and Loan Officer. Having been at the bank since 2011, he has completed multiple Schools of Banking programs including the School of Banking Fundamentals, Ag Lending School, Bank Compliance School, Relationship & Business Development School, and the Advanced School of Banking. Outside of banking, Mark serves as President of Oberlin- Decatur County Economic Development and coaches junior high football. BRETT HUBKA GNBank, Clay Center A native Kansan, Brett started his banking career in Muskogee, OK, joining GNBank in 2015 as Assistant Vice President. A graduate of KSU, he has completed the Schools of Banking’s Agricultural Lending School and the Advanced School of Banking. Brett is a member of Rotary International and Young Bankers of Kansas and currently serves on the Clay Center Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as well as the Parish Council of SS Peter & Paul Church. MILLIE BUESSING First Commerce Bank, Marysville Millie joined the bank in January 2018 as Vice President and Controller, having previous banking experience in Kansas and Nebraska as well as with a CPA firm. She has participated in the Schools of Banking’s Operations School and Advanced School of Banking, in addition to numerous KBA seminars and workshops. Millie is actively involved in the community and has volunteered her time and abilities to local church and youth activities. KENAN WARREN Farmers State Bank, McPherson After graduating from Kansas State University in 2015, Kenan joined the bank in McPherson. He currently serves as an assistant vice president, with the majority of his time being spent as a lender. Kenan has completed two Schools of Banking programs including the School of Lending Principles and the Advanced School of Banking. He enjoys golf and attends as many Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas City Chiefs football games as he can. GSB BANKER ADVISORY BOARD SCHOLARSHIP SEAN BABJAK INTRUST Bank, Wichita Sean has twelve years of banking experience, having been with INTRUST Bank for three years as a commercial lender focusing on C&I lending. Sean currently serves as Rotary Club Treasurer and volunteers with YPW. He received his undergraduate degree in business finance from the University of Kansas. ADVANCED SCHOOL OF BANKING SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship recipients are graduates of the School of Banking Fundamentals and receive $350 per year of attendance at the two-year Advanced School of Banking. Kevin Laudermilk First Bank, Sterling Kevin joined the bank in July 2018 as an assistant investment officer and is responsible for daily liquidity management, bond portfolio management and accounting, asset/ liability and the Call Report. He is a native of Sterling and earned a BA degree in history at Sterling College.
