Members of KBA staff continued visiting banks this past month as part of KBA’s 2019 No-Ties Tour. Joining the effort for this round of bank visits was KBA Chairman Chris Donnelly, President & CEO of Bank of the Prairie. Donnelly joined KBA President and CEO Doug Wareham for a 15-bank swing through southeast Kansas. “When Doug and I visited our fellow bankers in southeast Kansas, we got to see and hear firsthand how these bankers affected the lives of people in their communities. The passion these bankers showed for their communities and their industry was incredibly moving, they truly cared! These Kansas bankers are real people doing the RIGHT thing for their customers and their communities, and in many cases, they were the only financial institutions there in their community doing what they do. Every Kansas banker should be proud of what they do to help people.
