He earned an Associate Degree in Business from Barton County Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Kansas State University. He was Chairman of the Education/HR Committee and served on the Employee Benefits Committee. He served on the Bankers’ Bank of Kansas Board from 2005-2009 and recently was reelected to that board in 2019. Outside of banking, Ewy serves on the Montgomery County Action Council Board, Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Board and the Coffeyville Community College Foundation Board as well several other Coffeyville community service boards. He and his wife Leslie reside in Coffeyville and have two children, Kirsten and Chris. He enjoys golf and riding his motorcycle. Patrick (Pat) Wiederholt, Regional Representative Pat has been Chairman/CEO of Flint Hills Bank in Hartford for 25 years. He obtained a Bachelor of Business and Finance degree from Pittsburg State University. He currently also serves on the KBA State Affairs Committee and was previously on the Bank Management Committee. Outside of banking, Pat is on the boards of the Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas and Flint Hills Technical College. He is currently Chairman of the Board for Fire District #5 and is on the Finance Council at St. Mary Church in Hartford. He and his wife Janel live in Hartford and have three children; Adam, Erin, Andrew as well as five grandchildren. Aside from his family, in his spare time he enjoys farming and traveling. Allison Grace, At-Large Representative Allison is Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer at Andover State Bank where she has been employed since 2001. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting from the University of Kansas and is a graduate of Southwest Graduate School of Banking in Dallas, Texas. Allison and her husband, Jeff, live in Wichita and have two children, Katherine and Jack. In her free time, she enjoys coaching her kids’ sporting events, exercising and spending time at the lake with family and friends. Elsa Havel, Kansas Ag Bankers (KAB) Division President Elsa is Assistant Trust Officer/Assistant Vice President at Grant County Bank where she has worked since August 2010. Prior to that Elsa was employed at First National Bank in Johnson from 2005-2010. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and is a graduate of the KBA/ NBA Ag Lending School, Advanced Ag Lending School and Commercial Lending School. She is married to Garet and they have two children, Bria and Zane. She enjoys spending time with her kids, hunting, playing sports and baking. Joe Karnes, Trust Division President Joe is Vice President and Trust Officer at Central National Bank in Lawrence, Kansas where he has been employed since 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Central Michigan University graduating Cum Laude. He obtained his Certified Trust & Financial Advisor certificate from American Bankers Association and is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School. Joe has been active in the KBA with service on the Federal & State Affairs Committees as well as the Education and HR Committee. Joe enjoys cycling, golf, reading and United States history. He is married to Jan and they have two children, Kate and Kari. Brian Whitesell, KBA-Young Bank Officers of Kansas (YBOK) Division President Brian is Vice President/Commercial Lending at Landmark National Bank where he has been since 2006. The bank is headquartered in Manhattan and has several locations in Kansas. Whitesell earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Kansas State University. He served as a member of the Education/HR Committee from 2015-2018 and currently serves on the YBOK Board. He is active in his community and serves on the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce Diplomat Committee as well as Chamber Champions Committee. Brian enjoys coaching youth sports, traveling and Kansas State athletics. He is married to Amanda and they have three children, Zachary, Kailey and Aiden.
